First Nations Wellbeing Fund Knowledge Sharing Forum: Virtual

Wed, Nov 18, 2026, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST
Virtual, Via Zoom

This session is being created as a strengths-based, culturally grounded space for dialogue about wellness projects, planning, and implementation. Funded First Nations from across the province will share their experiences, celebrate community-led initiatives, and learn from one another.

Through presentations, storytelling, and facilitated discussions, participants will gain insights, practical ideas, and inspiration from the diverse pathways First Nations are taking to support physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The event will bring together funded recipients, community champions, and facilitators to share promising practices, tools, and lessons learned that reflect First Nations' own measures of wellness.

The forum celebrates the work of First Nations communities that have received support through the First Nations Well Being Fund and creates opportunities for shared learning and connection. Knowledge shared through these discussions will help inform future directions and policy recommendations grounded in the lived realities, strengths, and aspirations of First Nations communities, while supporting broader wellness and poverty reduction efforts in partnership with the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Social Development.

We welcome First Nations community members from across BC who have an interest in, or role related to, community wellness to join these important conversations. Your experiences and perspectives are valuable in creating an engaging and meaningful space for shared learning.
